EligibilityFemale youth who are residents of Alameda County and graduating seniors from an Alameda County-based school (including Union City, Fremont, Newark, Hayward, Oakland, Berkeley and all other county communities), academically in good standing and poised to enter post-secondary education. Applicants must demonstrate at least one full year of work or community service that advances the quality of life for women, girls and their families in Alameda County, plus leadership and mentoring of others, achievements outside of high school academics (sports, volunteering, work, arts), creative community building, experience overcoming challenges, and measurable positive impact on Alameda County families.
