EligibilityGraduating high school seniors from Gray County and the surrounding Texas Panhandle counties. The foundation states you only need to fill out ONE application and the system matches you to every fund you qualify for. Pampa and Gray County funds on the list include the Aubra Nooncaster PHS Class of 1952 Endowment (Pampa High School, 3.0+ GPA), The Clifton McNeely Endowment (Pampa High School, 3.0+ GPA, high school athletics participation), the Nona Payne Trust Scholarship Fund (Pampa High School, 3.0+ GPA, active in band or choir), the Margaret Arthur Memorial Scholarship (Lefors, Pampa or White Deer, 3.2+ GPA), the Carson County Gin Doug Nix Memorial Scholarship (Groom, Panhandle, White Deer or Pampa, 3.0+ GPA), the J.W. Jr. and Betty C. Gordon Scholarship (members of First United Methodist Church in Pampa attending school in Gray County), and the Louise Bowers Slentz Foundation Endowed Scholarship (Carson, Donley, Gray, Hemphill, Roberts or Wheeler counties, 2.0 minimum GPA, 2.5 to maintain in college).
