Beverly Hills High School Alumni Association Scholarships
$2,000 each — approximately six awards per year, $24,000 total (two BHHS Alumni Association Scholarships plus four privately funded named scholarships: the Dordick-Laksman Family, Lisa Harris Memorial, Michael Libow, and Joel Pressman Memorial Scholarships)
DeadlineApplication form is released through the BHHS counseling office at the beginning of the calendar year; winners are announced at BHHS Senior Awards Night. Contact the Alumni Association for the current round's availability and deadline.
EligibilityApplicants must be a member of the Beverly Hills High School graduating class in good standing. All students are encouraged to apply; selection is based on merit AND financial need. Applicants submit a personal statement of no more than two double-spaced pages about themselves and their college and professional plans, a high school transcript, two letters of recommendation from teachers or other adults (parents and relatives excluded), a resume if available, and a small photograph. The Alumni Scholarship Committee selects 8 to 12 semi-finalists and the final six are chosen with input from the school's counseling staff.
