$1,000 each - three awards for Bridge City High School seniors and three for Orangefield High School seniors

EligibilityGraduating senior at Bridge City High School or Orangefield High School; U.S. citizen; plans to attend a two-year or four-year accredited college or vocational school FULL TIME in the fall. Packet must include the application form, GPA, class ranking, an official high school transcript in a school-sealed envelope bearing an original signature or school seal (faxed copies are not accepted), a detailed list of extracurricular activities plus community involvement and volunteer work, a one-page essay on why it is important to support your community, and TWO one-page letters of recommendation - one from a school staff member and one from a community member. DO NOT STAPLE any part of the packet; extra documents are discarded and part of the score depends on how well instructions are followed. Checks are paid to the student or the school once full-time enrollment is verified; proof of enrollment is due by September 1 or the award is forfeited.
