EligibilityImmediate high school graduates (public, private, or homeschool) who have been residents of the City of Bristol, Virginia for at least 12 months before graduation. U.S. citizen or permanent resident. No high school GPA requirement to apply; recipients must keep a 2.0 GPA, enroll in at least 6 credits per semester, and complete 8 hours of community service each year. Steps: apply to VHCC, complete the FAFSA, submit the VHCC scholarship application, register for classes, and record volunteer hours. VHCC Financial Aid 276-739-2400.
