Caney Fork Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour Scholarships
Share of $16,000 in scholarships from Caney Fork Electric and Tennessee's electric cooperatives; top three statewide stories win $3,000, $2,000 or $1,000 from the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association, plus a drawing for a $10,000 scholarship for delegates who stay engaged with their co-op in the 12 months after the tour.

EligibilityHigh school JUNIORS in Caney Fork Electric Cooperative's service area - Warren, White, Van Buren and DeKalb counties. Participating schools: Warren County High School, White County High School, Van Buren County High School, DeKalb County High School, Boyd Christian School (Warren County) and Covenant Academy (Warren County). Students compete by writing a short story titled 'Energizing Every Moment' about how communities benefit from energy, education and economic development. Four juniors are selected annually as delegates.
