DeadlineAnnual cycle. The 2026 application deadline was March 18, 2026. Applications are posted at cprmc.com/scholarship_2026 and become available early in the calendar year, so students should check in January or February for the next cycle.
EligibilityVerbatim from the Auxiliary: eligible applicants must be pursuing a medically related field that involves the direct practice of medicine in a hospital or physician office, with the scholarship committee reserving discretion to determine which fields qualify. Graduating high school seniors ARE able to apply - successful applicants are asked to furnish proof of acceptance OR continued enrollment in an accredited technical school, college, or university, and the proof-of-acceptance route is what covers a senior who has not started college yet. Awards go to students from Hartsville and the surrounding counties of Darlington, Chesterfield, Lee, and Marlboro. Required materials: the completed application, a reference letter, and an essay explaining why the applicant would be an excellent candidate.
