EligibilityCedar Hill ISD graduating seniors in good standing planning to attend college, community college or vocational school. Minimum GPA varies by award: Education Foundation 2.0; Sudhalter Memorial 2.7 (requires commitment to a career in medicine or counseling); RuizCo 3.0 (requires at least 50 hours of community service within the past year, preference for business coursework or majors); Mike Norton 2.5 (must pursue business as a major); Wilson Legacy 2.5 (must be a graduating senior JROTC cadet). All require a 350-500 word essay on post-high-school plans (RuizCo requires 500-700 words), two recommendation letters, and a fully executed Scholarship Permissions and Release form.
